A rep for Playboy has confirmed that Lindsay Lohan‘s nude Playboy spread will hit news stand just in time for the holidays. While there were whispers of plans to reshoot the pics, since Hugh Hefner didn’t approve , it seems that those rumors may be false. According to the mag’s rep:
“Lindsay Lohan will be featured in Playboy’s January/February issue, which hits newsstands in late December,” Sources previously disclosed Hef’s dissatisfaction with Lohan’s initial shoot, which was allegedly too similar to a Kate Moss inspired fashion spread. The famed Playboy owner apparently wanted an old fashioned pin-up style shoot instead. Sources close to the star maintain that the photos were reshot this weekend while the troubled starlets immense team of handlers were present.
Lohan posed nude in a Marilyn Monroe style shoot for New York Magazine a couple of years ago. Back then it seemed the actress wasn’t too far from returning to the screen. Yet these days its hard to imagine her career being resuscitated. Her Playboy cover story seems more like a desperate attempt at milking the Hollywood cash cow rather than a comeback.
