Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner have just reached a new level of fame! On November 3rd, the actors had their hand and feet prints added into the cement right outside of the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. Fans traveled from all over the world for the ceremony, which was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
It’s rare that actors get the honor as a group. Other collective casts to receive the honor include that of Oceans 11 and Harry Potter
Funny-man Kimmel joked about the ceremony: “There aren’t too many stars that have their hands and feet in cement. Taylor will also be putting his abs in the cement”.
Author Stephenie Meyer introduced the stars and revealed just how in awe she is of them: “I’m so excited for them today. I’m also very proud of them. They’re lives have changed a lot. I’m grateful to them. Everything that they expend in the service of these characters has been touching to me”
Kristen told the crowd of adoring fans just how highly she thought of the honor: “I think this is the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life.
Taylor agreed, saying, “This is really like a dream. It’s such an honor.” Robert felt that the event was surreal, adding, “This is incredibly scary. Its kind of ridiculous and amazing.”
