Christina Aguilera plays a small town girl learning the ropes at a Burlesque lounge in the film, but judging from this just-released clip, her character Ali Rose picks up the art very quickly.
‘An original trendsetter in her time and a legend in mine. I found her kind and warm. She had helpful advice and stories for days.’ She added of the film: ‘It’s sexy, it’s sensual. The whole idea of burlesque has always intrigued me. ‘The art of the tease, the dance, beautiful women – need I say more? I think people will definitely feel energised and excited.’
